A BLISSFUL EASTER FEAST!
Easter is upon us!
And if 2020 has taught us anything, it's that this Easter it's more important than ever to spend time with your loved ones. So to help make your Easter extra special, we've put together a Blissful Easter Feast, full of easy styling ideas that will have you creating stylish memories with the ones you love.
Use Layers
If your family is anything like ours, any get together involves more food than you can possibly eat (our eyes are bigger than our stomachs, lol).
So how do we fit it all on on the table and still make it look good? The answer is layers. Layers allow you to give height to a dish or highlight the ones your most proud of.
For our Blissful Easter Feast we used our Vaso Cake Stand to give height to our delicious Chocolate Egg Cake (a masterpiece in our opinion), and to display and highlight our Traditional Chocolate Mousse, we used our Mini Fromage Paddle Board (Cheeseboards are a super versatile servingware piece, a must for entertainers!)
Mix up Your Textures
If Jamie Oliver has taught us anything, it's that a table full of textures is a happy one. A white table cloth (another must have), is the perfect base for any theme and will compliment any servingware.
Then add servingware in different materials. We like glass for simple elegance and class, timber boards for warmth and a natural feel and placemats in different textures always tie everything together (We added our Arlo Tea Towel in soft clay for another texture and because we love the colour.)
Our Hana 12 piece dinner set is one of our favourite textured pieces - it features a matte finish and is made from gorgeous stoneware, it's also available in a variety of colours to suit your home (we used Ivory) along with our Moscow 24pc Cutlery Set which has texture written all over it!
Have Multipurpose Servingware
We love products that have more than one use (our servingware collection is full of them!), and our Vino Vino Stemless wine glasses from Salt & Pepper, have to be my favourite all rounder essential servingware item.
Apart from the obvious glass of wine at the end of the day, they make a stylish everyday drinking glass, are the perfect vessel for showing off your latest cocktail creation, and (my favourite use) they make simple desserts look restaurant worthy.
I've included Bec's recipe for Traditional Chocolate Mousse (she was a chef in a former life) so you can recreate the mousse cups we made for our photo shoot. Apart form tasting delicious, they are an easy make the night before dessert option, that will wow your family and friends.
Enjoy! From my family to yours, love Hannah x
